Applications

CONTEGA CLASSIC^® is an all-around adhesive for durable and elastic connections between membranes and uneven substrates and/or difficult junctions. Bond is durable and elastic. It can be used on the interior or exterior of the building.

Substrates

• Permanently interior adhesion of all Pro Clima membranes and PP-,PE, PA-, and Aluminum foils to substrates (wood, brick, concrete)
• Exterior permanent adhesion of SOLITEX MENTO, WRBs, subroof- und rainscreen membranes and wind/watertight construction components
• Works in conjunction with CONTEGA FC, SL, EXO to connect solid or angled connections between different airtight construction materials
• Good for uneven and porous substrates as it forms to, and penetrates into the substrate

Properties

• Material: Dispersion based on acrylic acid copolymers, free of plasticizers and halogens 
• Application Temperature: > 32 °F (0 °C ) to 122 °F (50 °C)
• Can be stored below freezing
