WHERE
Join 475 at our HQ office in Brooklyn for a happy hour featuring Diasen's Diathonite Thermactive: a cork-based thermal-insulating stucco/plaster system. It creates a R-4/in insulation layer for interior or exterior use that protects your assembly, while providing comfort and regulating humidity of materials. Made from an optimized mixture of renewable cork granules, natural hydraulic lime, perlite, cellulose, and pumice into a single machine- or trowel-applied system. Allows for a wide range of lime-based plaster finishes.
Francesco Marcelli, Diasen's Global Development Manager, will join us from Italy to present this sustainable and stunning product, which serves as both continuous insulation and a finish-ready substrate for interior plaster or exterior stucco. No foam, no boards, no joints. Diasen is ideally suited for exterior retrofit of mason, to create insulated stucco finishes. It's exceptionally well-suited for interior historic renovations where moisture management is critical and insulation space is limited or reversibility is a must have.
